One of the recovery programs currently underway is the construction of 100 integrated comfortable housing units for the victims of the Semeru eruption.
This residence was built in Sumber Mujur Village, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency.
Kusmayadi, ACT's emergency response team, said that people don't need to worry that this dwelling will also be affected by the Semeru eruption.
This is because the location for the construction of this residence is a green zone as a recommendation from the local government.
"Alhamdulillah, we have completed 2 residential buildings, and we continue to build construction so that they can be occupied as soon as possible, those who live in this residential house, those whose houses were destroyed by the Semeru eruption, are economically disadvantaged, to the elderly. This dwelling has an area of 6 x 4.8 meters square, equipped with living room facilities, bedrooms, bathrooms, and also a front terrace. This will be a new home for residents affected by the Semeru eruption." he explained.
Various humanitarian actions to help victims of the eruption of Mount Semeru continue to be carried out by Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT).
Starting from emergency assistance to recovery programs, ACT continues to strive to help the victims.
